By using ReviewHook, you agree to the collection and use of information in line with this policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

When you connect Google Business Profile, Google Play, Apple App Store, G2, or any other supported platform to ReviewHook, you're also agreeing to be bound by the respective platform's terms and privacy policy.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Personal information

We collect the following when you sign up and use ReviewHook:

  • Name — for account identification and personalization
  • Email address — for account communication, support, and service updates
  • Payment information — processed securely through third-party payment providers (we don't store payment details)
  • API usage data — to monitor usage and provide analytics in your dashboard

1.2 Review platform data

When you connect a review platform to ReviewHook, we collect and store access tokens and basic profile information necessary to fetch reviews and post replies on your behalf. We only access the data needed to provide the Service.

1.3 Automatically collected information

  • IP addresses and device information
  • Browser type and version
  • Usage patterns and API request logs
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 8)

2. Legal basis for processing

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process your personal data based on the following:

  • Contractual necessity — to provide the Service, manage your account, and process payments
  • Consent — where you've given explicit consent, such as for marketing communications
