Why responding to reviews matters
Reviews are public signals — and how you respond is just as visible as what customers say. Businesses that consistently reply to reviews build trust faster, rank higher in local search, and turn frustrated customers into repeat ones.
The hard part isn't knowing what to say. It's writing dozens of responses without sounding robotic, or worse, missing the response window entirely. This AI review responder helps you draft thoughtful replies in seconds — then you decide what to post.
Need more than a review response generator?
This generator works one review at a time. Useful, but slow if you manage multiple businesses or get dozens of reviews a week.
ReviewHook is what we're building for that exact problem: one API that fetches reviews from Google Business Profile, Google Play, Apple App Store, G2, and other platforms — then handles replies across all of them. Designed for developers, agencies, and SaaS teams managing reviews across multiple businesses and locations.

Negative review response examples
"Waited 45 minutes for my food and it came cold. Server didn't even apologize. Never coming back."
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. A 45-minute wait followed by cold food is not the standard we hold ourselves to, and we're sorry for the frustration this caused. We'd appreciate the chance to make this right — please reach out to us directly so we can address this with the team and welcome you back properly.
Positive review response examples
"Best haircut I've had in years. Sarah really listened to what I wanted and the salon vibe is so relaxing. Already booked my next appointment."
Thank you so much! Sarah will love hearing this. Glad the experience felt as good as the result — see you at your next appointment!
Mixed review reply example
"Food was great but service was really slow. Took forever to get our drinks refilled."
Thank you for the honest feedback. We're glad the food hit the mark, but slow service isn't the experience we want for any guest. We've shared this with our front-of-house team to tighten things up. We'd love to have you back and show you a smoother visit.

Different situations call for different tones. A 1-star complaint needs a different approach than a 5-star compliment. Three options give you flexibility to pick the one that fits — or mix elements from each.
Not with this tool. For automated replies across multiple platforms, that's what ReviewHook is built for. Read the docs to get started.
